Shaughnessy- Full Backyard Restoration
This Shaughnessy property needed more than a refresh, it needed a proper overhaul. Aging concrete walls were broken out with heavy machinery to open up the space, the patio was extended, and existing stonework was repaired and unified for a cohesive look throughout.
Natural grass was replaced with durable artificial turf to cut down on maintenance without sacrificing the look. We also serviced the irrigation system, repaired and repositioned outdoor lighting, and planted hedges along the perimeter for added privacy.
A smaller secondary patio was restored with natural stone wall facing to tie the whole yard together.
The result: a spacious, low-maintenance backyard the whole family can actually use — from kids playing on the turf to evening gatherings on the extended patio.
Kerrisdale, Vancouver - Complete Property Renewal
Five years in, this Kerrisdale property had seen better days. The lawn was depleted, the garden beds were overgrown, and the stonework was starting to show its age. We came in and started fresh — properly this time.
Depleted soil was stripped out and replaced with premium topsoil to give the new lawn a foundation worth growing in. Corten steel edging was installed around the garden beds for clean, contemporary definition that holds its shape for years. The stepping stone pathway was realigned and levelled, turning a tripping hazard into a polished feature.
Existing stack stone walls were reinforced with concrete, the fencing was repaired, and two new gated entries with quality locks were added for security. New exterior lighting was installed throughout to highlight the landscape after dark and improve visibility.
The outcome is a property that looks and feels brand new — functional, well-built, and designed to last well beyond another five years.
